A street in Westchester will be shut down overnight to shoot part of a Showtime television series on the infamous 2015 New York prison break.
Willet Avenue in Port Chester will b closed from North Main Street to Broad Street at Summerfield Park area from 4:30 p.m. Thursday until 7 a.m. on Friday to film scenes from Ben Stiller's "Escape At Dannemora," about the escape by two murderers who were romantically involved with a prison guard at Clinton Correctional Facility in Upstate New York.
Stiller lives in Chappaqua.
Joyce Mitchell, the prison seamstress convicted of aiding the prisoners' escape, is serving time at Bedford Women's Correctional Facility.
Port Chester Police Chief Richard Conway said such film shoots are "wonderful for the community."
There also were movie set signs marked "TBL" posted nearby on Route 120 in Purchase.
Parking will be prohibited in the Willet Avene/Marvin/Lower King Street area. area.
Decal Parking has been relocated to Abendroth Avenue for the day.
